Nail Sauce’s Flamingo Berry

14 Apr

I love this flamingo. This isn’t your eccentric aunt’s pink flamingo out in the front yard! Did you know? Don Featherstone of Massachusetts is the inventor of the pink plastic lawn flamingo, which has been gracing lawns since 1957.

Now moving along to the important stuff. Felicia of Nail Sauce has a new collection coming up. It’s called Go Wild! Its release date is Monday, April 15, 2013 and that’s tomorrow. The first beauty that caught my eye was Flamingo Berry.

Stardust Polish’s Super Giant

6 Apr

It was refreshing to receive at least one indie polish that didn’t have glitter in it for review. Sometimes a simple polish can be beautiful and that is what Super Giant is. Stardust Polish’s Super Giant is this gorgeous rich red with a slight shimmer and some gold undertones to it.

Meow meow … Bean Juice’s Once In A Blue Moon

4 Apr

20130404-171207.jpg
Meow! How do you like this? So sorry for my short nails. I broke my one of my nails yesterday and had to file the rest back. That was definitely a sad day for me.

Polishes used: OPI’s Can’t Find My Czechbook (from the Euro Centrale collection), Orly’s Liquid Vinyl (my favorite black for stamping), and Bean Juice’s Once In A Blue Moon. Stamping plates used: BM-201 and BM-04. I’m loving the Once In A Blue Moon! The tiny blue holo glitter’s formula is adorable! Formula is great. This was one coat over black. You can find Bean Juice’s polishes at her etsy shop at: http://www.thecrafthouseofbeans.etsy.com
